Day 19/Jan 19 - A busy week

The kid had a blast in the school, she loves it very much (Kala-Tika) and that is because she gets to do all this, make any amount of mess she wants to without being yelled yet, and taught a lot of things the fun way.. the alphabet this week is S and the concept is snow man.. :).

ఎంతైనా తేడా బ్యాచ్ కి పుట్టింది కాబట్టి నా కూతురు కూడా కాస్త తేడా పనులు చేస్తూ ఉంటుంది ఒక్కోసారి.... అసలే జ్వరంగా ఉంది అని తను ఏమి చేసినా ఊరుకుంటే రోజంతా అమ్మ గారు ఇందులోనే ఉన్నారు, తిన్నారు... ఆడుకున్నారు.

మొదటి సారి చిచ్కూ గాడిని బీచ్ కి తీసుకెళ్ళినప్పుడు కాళ్ళ కింద ఇసక జారిపోతుంటే బెదిరిపోయింది, ఇసక నీళ్ళు పోసుకుని ఆదుకుంది కాని అలల జోలికి రాలేదు, అలాంటిది ఒకటి రెండు సార్లు వెళ్ళేపాటికి మనకి విసుగు పుట్టాలి తప్పితే తను మాత్రం అమ్మ కాసేపు, అమ్మ కూసేపు, అంటూ అలలు వస్తూ పోతూ ఉంటె తనని ఎత్తు పట్టుకుని నీళ్ళని తోయించాలి అని భలేగా ఆడుకుంటుంది... బలవంతంగా మనం లాక్కుని వస్తే తప్ప రాకుండా తయారయ్యింది.. బీచి దెగ్గర ఇల్లు పెట్టుకుందాం అని అడుగుతుంది :).

చాలా చాలా ఏళ్ళ తరవాత హోలీ ఆడాను పిచ్చి పిచ్చిగా... మీ అందరికి కూడా ఈ హోలీ మీ జీవితంలోకి బోలెడు రంగులని నింపాలి అని కోరుకుంటున్నా.

పిల్ల కొంచెం తేట పడి ఒక రెండు ముద్దలు తిని కక్కకుండా నిలుపుకుంది.. కొంచెం కాలు చెయ్యి ఆడితే ఇంక ఆగం కదా గంతులేస్తుంటే కూచోపెట్టి ఈ స్టెన్సిల్ రంగుల బొమ్మలు వేసుకున్నాం... ఇక్కడ బొమ్మ ఇంత అందంగా కనిపించినా చుట్టూ పక్కల నానా బీబత్సం చేసి పెట్టాం... ఏదైతే అది అయ్యింది కాని పిల్ల కాస్త నవ్విన్దోచ్!!!

Day 320 ~ Nov 16 - Dashing Love

me belting up the kid for her favorite dashing cars.. yes, she is illegal, underage for riding even this toy.. yet we managed to do it ;).

చిచ్కూ కి బీబత్సంగా నచ్చేసిన ఆట ఇది.. ఎంత ఆడిన అమ్మ మళ్ళీ గుద్దేద్దాం అని గోల :).

Day 206 ~ July 25 ~ Muntha Mashaala

After a tiring day of gardening, the kids and me decide for a treat, our very own Munta Mashaala in the making, andhra version of Bhelpuri :).

వానలు పడుతుంటే రోజంతా పని చేసి అలిసిపోయి ఏదైనా తినాలి అనిపిస్తుంది, అప్పుడు రోడ్ మీద పడి కొని తెచ్చుకుని కుమ్మేసేది ముంత మషాలా.. ఇంట్లోనే చేసేస్తే పోలా అని అందరం తలా ఒక చెయ్యేసి ఇరగదీసేసాం, చాల బాగా కుదిరింది. 

January 10 - On My Tips

The best place, according to me, to be in the world right now is the world of books... 

Running out of things to take a pic of from the bed, I take this cue from Siri :).

ఎప్పుడు ఏడుస్తూ కుయ్యో మొర్రో మంటూ నొప్పిని తలుచుకునే కంటే.. అన్ని మరిచిపోయి ఏదో లోకాల్లో విహరించడానికి నాకు ఉన్న మార్గాలు రెండు.. చిచ్కూ, పుస్తకాలు... పుస్తకంలో తల దూర్చి.. ఈ ప్రపంచం నించి మరో లోకంలో అలా వెళ్లిపోవచ్చు.. మరో కళల ప్రపంచం, కష్టం, సుఖం, కన్నీళ్ళు, నవ్వులు, నిజాలు, అబద్దాలు అన్ని అందులోనే.. మన ఊహలే మనకి ప్రతిబంధకాలు.... ఇక చిచ్కూ విషయానికొస్తే ఈ ప్రపంచంతో నాకు ఉన్న లింకు :).

August 30 - Little Hands At Work

When it rains outside, we hunt for activities to keep us out of the way of rain... we are busy bodies you see... so one fine day, we decide to check out the real dough and make something useful. 

Before someone reports child labor, let me reassure we were just having fun :))).. 

Bujji bujji chetulatoti pindi pisiki chapati chestunte choose naaku kadupu nindipoyindoch... kakapote kinda vesi paina vesi paami malli kindesi tinablegaaa maatram assalu ledu..

The above pic is something I really love and consider one of few good captures... though the memories associated with it are very heartbreaking, I love the memory of the little ones running around my daughter, the color they brought to our lives in those few days of existence.
