Day 264 ~ Sep 21 - Ganesha In the Making

Ganesha idols, the painter gives the final touches a week or so before the festival.

పండగ ముందు ఏదో పని మీద ముదినేపల్లి ఎల్తే అక్కడ బొమ్మలకి రంగులేస్తున్న ఈయన కనిపించాడు, చేతిలో సిగరెట్ పొగ, పైనించి పని.. ఈ మట్టి రూపాన్ని దేవునిగా మలిచేటప్పుడు అయినా  కాస్త ఆగితే బాగుండేమో

If you closely observe there is a cigarette in the hands of the worker.. it struck me as odd considering this very idol would become sacred and this guy wont even dream of doing it before God.
