జంగం దేవర అని పిలుస్తారు ఇతనిని... అప్పుడప్పుడు ఇలా వచ్చి వడ్లు డబ్బులు తీసుకుని ఇంటి ముందు సంఖం ఊది శుభం పలికి వెళ్ళిపోతారు.. పేరు వెంకటేశ్వర్ రావు, ఊరు సీతనపల్లి.. ఇలా పండగలకి, పంటలు చేతికొచ్చినప్పుడు, పనులు దొరికి జనాల దెగ్గర డబ్బులు ఉన్నప్పుడు వచ్చి ఊరంతా తిరిగి భిక్ష తీసుకుని వెళ్తారు.
మా ఊర్లో కొన్ని కులాల వారు (వారిని సాతాను మతస్తులు అంటారు ఇక్కడ), చనిపోయాక, వారిని కూర్చోపెట్టి తీసుకుని వెళ్లి సమాధి చేస్తారు, అప్పుడు ఈ జంగమ దేవర వచ్చి సంఖం ఊదుతూ తీసుకుని వెళ్లి కార్యక్రమం అంతా జరిపిస్తారు.. ఈ మధ్య వీళ్ళు దొరకడం చాల కష్టం అయిపోతుంది.. అంతరించిపోతున్న పరంపరల్లో ఇది కూడా ఒకటేమో.
