the lady selling all types of herbs and pins and needles... she was all too happy to pose and wanted specifically to put it up on internet, i dont know how far she understood the concept of net though.
the stuff she was selling.. most of which names I dont really know.. but those nuts are called karakkaayalu.

ఒక పూసలావిడ నిన్న వీధిలో వెళ్తుంటే మేము కేకేసి బోలెడన్ని కొనుక్కున్నాం... ఎప్పుడో చిన్నప్పుడు అమ్మమ్మ వాళ్ళ ఇంట్లో చూసిన ఎన్నో చిన్ని చిన్ని వస్తువులు ఆవిడ దెగ్గర ఉన్నాయి.. కరక్కాయలు, మాస కాయలు, గచ్చ కాయలు, దిష్టి పూసలు, చూపు పూసలు, సూదులు, వేర్లు, గింజలు, పిక్కలు, ఇలా ఎన్నో.. చిచ్కూ ఐతే పండగ చేసుకుంది అన్ని రకాలు చూసి, ఆవిడ కూడ పాపం ఏది అంటే అది ముట్టుకోనిచ్చింది.. అలాగే మంచి బేరం కూడ చేసుకుంది.. పాపమ్మ గారికి నచ్చింది కొనండి అమ్మ అని...
నేను ఎప్పుడో ఆడుకున్న అచ్చంగాయలు గుర్తొచ్చి గచ్చ కాయలు తెచ్చుకున్నాను.. ఎంతో ముచ్చటగా దాచుకున్న చిచ్కూ ఎక్కడైనా పారేయకుండా.. తను మింగదు కాని ఏదైనా సరే ఒకటి నొన్ను, బోలు.. ఎక్ ధో తీన్.. వన్, తూ అనుకుంటూ లేక్కలేసుకుని ఎక్కడో దాచేసుకుంటుంది.. .
