Traditional hand fans
The hand fans of various shapes and sizes and material.. used in summers or during the time of power cut time or just like I do now shoo away the houseflies.. the one made of dried palm leaves with the edges sewn with a cloth by hand by me as not to hurt the kid is the most traditional one.. the square one is made from bamboo and the round one is again made from date tree leaves... the last but the cutest tiny one was made by cutting the big one to fit in my daughter's hands by her friends.
విసినకర్ర, అందులోను తాటాకు విసినకర్ర ఈ మధ్య కేవలం పల్లెతూర్లకే పరిమితం ఐపోయింది. ఈతాకు విసినకర్ర.. ఇలా ఎన్నో రకాలు ఉన్నాయ్. ప్లాస్టిక్ ప్రపంచంలో వీటిని చూడటం అంటే నాకు ఏంటో ఇష్టం... ఆకు గీసుకోకుండా చివర గుడ్డ ముక్కతోటి కుట్టడం ఒక పని. ఎండా కాలం అంటే ఈ విసినకర్ర ప్రతి ఇంట్లోను ప్రత్యక్షం.. మేము పడుకుంటే నిద్ర లెగవకుండా అమ్మమ్మ తాతయ్య విసిరుతున్న జ్ఞాపకం ఎంత మధురం.. అస్సో ఉస్సో అనుకుంటూ చమటలు కక్కుకుంటూ కరెంటు వాడిని తిట్టుకుంటూ ఆ కర్ర తిప్పుకుంటూ చేతులు నొప్పి పుట్టి చేతులు మార్చుకుంటూ.. ఎన్నో జ్ఞాపకాలు.. కనుమరుగవుతున్న చిన్ని చిన్ని పనిముట్లు.
ఆ బుజ్జి బుజ్జి విసినకర్ర పండు గాడి కోసం పక్కింటి చిన్ని నాని చేసి ఇచ్చారు. వాడి మీద ఆ పిల్లలకి ఉన్న ప్రేమ ఆ బుజ్జి వస్తువులో కనిపిస్తుంది.
